Grab a spoon and dig in!

I’m one of those people that obsessively reads labels on food - not because I’m counting calories or jotting down my carb or fat intake - but because it seems like everywhere you turn in a grocery store these days, food is “healthy,” “natural” or “organic.” And I’m often skeptical, is it actually healthy? Or, is it loaded with weird chemicals and non-food products?

I always liked that Dreyer’s ice cream commerical where the kids are reading some 15 syllable word starting with “poly” or “mono” and ending in “icamine” off some other ice cream brand. Then they get to the Dreyer’s natural ice cream label and its just plain and simple like strawberries and milk.  If you can’t pronounce the word on the label, you probably shouldn’t be eating the food.

I started this  blog to review natural, healthy food products - I want to see which of these supposed healthy foods are actually healthy, worth the price and of course, taste good. Because trust me, even if it is healthy and affordable but tastes like a cardboard box, I won’t recommend anyone eat it.

Grab a spoon and dig in - I look forward to your comments, hate mail and recommendations.
