Slate posted a great article today about re-creating restaurant dishes at home - with food prices on the up and spending at a low, people are becoming much more aware of where they are spending their hard earned money. An inexpensive alternative is to cook it yourself using cookbooks that feature recipes from restaurants like Eat Me, Carmine’s Family-Style Cookbook, and Chanterelle.
