Dining Out in Your Own Kitchen

by jamie on January 21, 2009

Slate posted a great article today about re-creating restaurant dishes at home - with food prices on the up and spending at a low, people are becoming much more aware of where they are spending their hard earned money. An inexpensive alternative is to cook it yourself using cookbooks that feature recipes from restaurants like Eat MeCarmine’s Family-Style Cookbook, and Chanterelle.

Check it out - this is also a great way to cut some of the crap (and the fat) out of your favorite restaurant style dishes. When you’re cooking it in your own kitchen, you actually KNOW what’s going in your food.
