The majority of women who have been on the pill have probably experienced one or all of the following: mood swings, spotting, weight gain, and lack of sex drive. And while there are many upsides including clear skin, and period regulation, the pill still just generally sucks. Not only do you have to take it everyday, you’re also supposed to take it at the same time. I know so many ladies that have their cell phone alarms set to “pill time” or “bc.” So while its controlling your hormones, its also busy controlling your life! 
I was not surprised to find yet another reason why taking the pill really sucks. According to a recent study by scientists at Texas A&M, women who use birth control pills have less of a chance at developing muscle mass for resistance training. Because women who use birth control pills have significantly lower levels of anabolic hormones, scientists think women who use birth control pills will develop less muscle.
So while we’re all working really hard for those rock hard abs and toned arms, our birth control might be working against us.

If you think that birth control is busy controlling your life, think about how much time a kid would devote to controlling your damn life.
yes, very true, but there are alternatives that would be worth exploring…
