Skinny Bitches on the Prowl

by jamie on April 23, 2009

According to the New York Times, Kim Barnouin and Rory Freedman, authors of our favorite vegan manifesto series, “Skinny Bitch” and “Skinny Bitch in the Kitch” are on the prowl for some big strong men.

Their newest book “Skinny Bastard,” will go on sale on Monday to capture the hearts of meat eating, overweight men looking for guidance on obtaining a hot bod.  Kim and Rory have high hopes that “Skinny Bastard” will be as successful as its female counterpart which sold 1.1 million copies.

“Skinny Bastard” follows roughly the same format as “Skinny Bitch” but with language that they hope will appeal to a male audience.  They’ve even added a section on professional athletes who follow a vegan or vegetarian diet including Miami Dolphins player Ricky Williams and Jerry Stackhouse of the Dallas Mavericks.

Wonder if I’ll see as many copies of “Skinny Bastard” as I saw of “Skinny Bitch” while riding the bus to work?  Or is this type of reading reserved mainly for the bathroom?

Interesting note - Both Stackhouse and Williams have had trouble with the weed.

Nice Post!
