Book Review: The Thrive Diet

by jamie on July 14, 2009

I am completely obsessed with Brendan Brazier’s book, The Thrive Diet .  His outlook on food and health is so similar to mine;  its not about counting calories or cutting carbs, its about eating a diet rich in whole foods and cutting out the crap. Its a diet that is not centered around body weight but around becoming healthier, more energetic, and overall happier.   Thrive Diet, Brendan Brazier

If you’re looking to change your life and your health, I highly recommend you give this book a whirl.

Plus, the recipes (which I will be posting later) are amazing!

Hi Jamie, great blog. Thanks for stopping by mine. :-) I’m working my way through this book. My husband runs everyday, participates in marathons, and is always open to bettering his performance, so I suggested he buy this book. It turned out to be a great suggestion, he appreciates this book as a great source of information.

I just finished reading this book and can’t wait to start the diet. (It starts tonight!) Some of the foods and recipes are a little intimidating, far different from what I’m used to cooking, so it will be very useful for me to see how certain ones work for you before I make them. And of course, you’ll be able to do the same from the ones I make before you do.

Great blog, I’ll be back often!
