The kind folks over at Attune Foods sent me some of their new Probiotic Munch Granola to review and giveaway to one of my very lucky readers. I’ve actually never done a giveaway on my blog (gasp!) but felt nothing could be more appropriate than giving away a little granola…I’ll let you all think about why that might be.
Attune’s new Munch comes in three flavors: Maple Nut, Apple Cinnamon, and Chocolate. All three flavors are high in fiber, packed with whole grain goodness and combined with probiotic yogurt chips/chocolate chips to give you the best that digestion has to offer. ;)
The first flavor I tried was the Maple Nut. While its a bit too sweet for my taste. However, I did like it mixed in with some Not Sweet Vanilla Galaxy Granola and soy milk. A little bit of this stuff goes a long way so its great mixed in with your favorite cereal, granola or even oatmeal.

Next, I tried the Apple Cinnamon. I have to admit that I don’t typically like anything that is apple cinnamon flavored unless its the real thing - it always tends to be a bit too strong for me - and this was no exception to that rule. That being said, Bryan loves apple cinnamon and was jazzed by this flavor. I could see this being great in a cookie recipe, used as a topping or even as crunch factor in a smoothie. By itself, it was just a tad too intense for me.

And last but definitely not least, the CHOCOLATE!!!! The chocolate is purely decadent and addictive. Once I started munching (pun intended), I literally couldn’t stop. Bad, bad bad but oh soooo good! This flavor makes a great snack when you’re craving something chocolatey (which apparently happens quite often for me) and was absolutely fabulous in my raspberry banana smoothie. YUM!

i just need a little more nutrition!!
I could definitely use more probiotics! I have chronic stomach problems and try and eat yogurt frequently but can only have certain kinds because of the sensitive stomach, and I’m always up for trying new remedies.
Plus I’m just a granola addict at heart :)
Well, my family and I are 1 month into our clean eating lifestyle change. Since March 1st 2010. I have become a research hound in seeking out flavors, recipes, products, and all things healthy. So when I came across this info about Attune, I knew I wanted to try it. Personally, I have what I call digestive problems. Although every physician says its fine, I know that it could be working way better than it currently does. (if you know what I mean). If there are products that can help that situation, I am all over it!. Please Please Please Pick me!. Oh and BTW. I love your blog.
Ooh that looks delicious!
I need probiotics in my life because I am SERIOUSLY lacking in them right now. Whenever I eat yogurt, it makes my throat sore, so I just don’t eat it. Sometimes I take probiotic supplements, but I’d really prefer to have them through my diet rather than in powdered form (particularly if it was in tasty GRANOLA form!).
Also, this granola would be especially awesome because I have a friend who is completely obsessed with granola and is having a really tough time finding HEALTHY granola in the stores near her home. I would love to be able to give her a bag or two of this granola if I won it.
Congrats on your first-ever giveaway :)
I need some probiotics in my life because I like bugs! Okay, not really but I could always use more in my diet. Sometimes my daily dishes are not the best for me and the good ol’ gut could always use a little help now and then.
I need some probiotics because I’m a bacteria-loving kind of gal who’s always looking for a way to smooth things out ;)
Um, especially the chocolate flavor. Sounds like Attune combines two of my favorite things: chocolate and, um, digestion. If you know what I mean.
i could use some extra probiotics in my life because of the numerous health benefits they provide! attune granola sounds delicious and i would definitely love to try it!
The chocolate sounds wild! I try to get more prioiotics in my daily diet for the digestion benefits. After reading about detox and cleanses I learned how important it is to maintain the intestine health and keep them “clean.”
i had no idea they came out with granola, very kewl!! i’m sure my tummy would appreciate the extra probiotics :)
I’ve read about their products and I think this would be a good way instead of yogurt to get some probiotics…does it help with eating too much roughage?
